Joan Baker and Rudy Gaskins from the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) are the talented and charismatic organizers of this event that, since 2014, rewards voiceover talents in a wonderful ceremony. This ceremony gathers colleagues from different countries and languages. The Spanish language has been an important part of this event. The year 2020 gave me the opportunity to be nominated in three categories: 1) Outstanding Narration Demo. 2) Best Voice Assisted Device. 3) Best Audiobook Narration - Fantasy. I am very grateful for this recognition to the members of the jury and to the SOVAS organization for giving me this satisfaction in my career as a voiceover. Overcoming the pandemic, the event was held at the New World Stages in New York and broadcasted via streaming.
